Catherine Donnelly Named 2020 Justice for All Volunteer of the Year Award Recipient by the CMBA
Catherine Donnelly received the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s (“CMBA’s”) 2020 Justice for All Volunteer of the Year Award at the Annual Meeting on June 25th. Each year the CMBA honors volunteers who have provided exemplary service to the Cleveland community in pro bono and public service programs during the previous Bar Year. Catherine was nominated by her peers in the CMBA’s Women in Law Section.
Catherine’s commitment to service and the greater Cleveland area speaks for itself. She has been an active volunteer attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland since 2008, and Catherine currently serves as a Board Member for Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Cleveland and The Meeting Place Learning Center. For the past three years, Catherine has also been a regular volunteer for the Women’s Business Center of Ohio where she assists women with starting and growing small businesses. Beyond the legal profession, Catherine also volunteers at St. Colman Church monthly by assisting with the distribution of meals to the community.
In addition to her volunteer work, Catherine served as the Vice-Chair & Membership Co-Chair for the CMBA’s Women in Law Section and was a member of the CMBA’s Justice for All Committee during the 2019-2020 Bar Year. For the upcoming 2020-2021 Bar Year, Catherine will be continuing her commitment to service as the CMBA’s Women in Law Section Co-Chair.
